So what is Basingstoke all about?

Basingstoke is located approximately 40 miles south-west of London, in Northern Hampshire, and is conveniently situated in the M3 / M4 corridor.  Traditionally regarded as an extension of the greater London area, Basingstoke is now developing it's unique identity as a town in it's own right, while also offering the convenience of being within a short distance of London and Reading and is also the gateway to the south of England.

From tiny specialist shops and traders, through to giant multi-national corporations, Basingstoke has them all. In recent years, the growth of the town as a whole, has also seen the opening of new theatres, cinemas, museums and leisure complexes. The redevelopment of the Festival Place shopping centre marked another milestone in Basingstoke's history, as we move onward into the new millennium.
